Created using the special Sbruffi technique, developed in the renowned Murano, Italy, it begins with a mass of crystal shaped into a vase. After adding the color-infused blown glasses, they are broken and fused for a second time in order to create the cherished details. And, with the help of the master and one or two other artisans, the silver leaf delicately mirrors the crystal, creating an artwork that looks freshly-forged and warmly inviting.
